It's our first blog post! Whoop! But before we get ahead of ourselves, let me start off with a disclaimer: if you're looking for great parenting advice, tips on organizing your life, the answers to the ever polarizing working mom vs. stay at home mom debate, rants on how to "have it all" or to be inspired by my perfect hair and my incredible post-baby bod that I got by only breastfeeding, then I suggest you click the "x" at the top of this page and find a different blog to read.
How Instagram thinks our family should look all the time.
....So for those of you who are still reading, it looks like we have something in common! Here you'll find a safe place full of real parenting flaws, super adorable baby pictures, ramblings on how we still don't know what we want to be when we grow up, everyday adventures, maybe some not so everyday ones, joys and sorrows, real relationship woes, hopefully a good dose of inspiration and enough glimpses into our mistakes that you will leave our blog feeling like an amazing parent and partner. How does that sound??
How we REALLY look as a family.
So anyways, thanks for reading my run-on sentences and for your future participation in our verbal (typed?) therapy sessions. We promise to let you in to what real life looks like for two high-school sweethearts who got married and quickly had 2 sassy girls in tow. A duo who have "real" jobs in the start up and pharmaceutical world by day, most important jobs as "Mommy" and "Dada" by all day, and an unplanned side-gig that exploded into a full-time endeavor by night. And by side-gig, I mean we make kids clothes in our at-home studio. Like, literally every night after kids go to sleep. When I say "studio", it's just a nicer way of saying our unfinished basement. Let's be real. Our life may look crazy to those on the outside, and even more crazy to us on the inside, but we are learning to love the ride. So please join us via our blog for a little slice of this journey, give us ideas on what to write about or questions you have, and please root for us as we try to figure this all out. We won't promise perfection, but we will promise entertainment. Enjoy!
